EPIC UPGRADES

OVERVIEW: Epic Upgrades is my clothing/accessories brand targeting Magic: the Gathering players. Each design embodies a particular play-style or deck "archetype" in the card game. The fact that players spend thousands of dollars on cards got me thinking—players need a way to represent their favorite deck or play-style. I started with just a few designs and they went over very well within the community, so I've been continuously producing more products based on what the community requests. My collection has grown to well over 100 unique designs!

CHALLENGES: Since I don't own printing equipment myself, I had to find a way to efficiently drop-ship all of my products. It took a lot of trial and error, but eventually I found a solid company that would print my designs on quality products with industrial-grade DTG (direct-to-garment) printers at a reasonable price. The major challenge I face is keeping up with design requests. Since there are literally thousands of decks to encompass, it's quite challenging to keep up with.
